Pine Island Camp is conveniently located in Sabaskong Bay of Lake of the Woods. Lake of the Woods is one of the larger lakes in Canada, covering an area of 4,000 square miles. Thousands of islands dot its surface, creating a weather protected fishing ground with infinite opportunities to fish on rocky reef, sandy beaches, weedy bays or steep shore lines. You can travel over vast distances, without portaging and always close to the shoreline. Here you can hunt the muskie, seek the great northern pike, thrill to the bold leap of the smallmouth bass, cast your fly to the crappie or fill your limit with the succulent walleye.
Pine Island Camp is located about 3 miles from the mainland. Excellent fishing is available in Sabaskong as well as adjoining bays
Our sturdy log cabins face the water and accommodate from two to eight people with all the comforts of home in a wilderness setting. We are unique in having standard electric power lines running directly to the island, to supply each cabin. Hot and cold running water, showers, flush toilets, and refrigerators with freezer tops are found in all of our cabins. Electric ranges are found in all of our housekeeping cabins. Linens, towels, dishes and cooking utensils are also supplied.
